Purpose
The MCM Series is designed for marine, inland waterway, and underwater applications. The actuators are used in fuel, drainage, fire-protection, and other shipboard systems requiring electric actuation.
The series is available in two versions:
MCM
MCM — open/close mode for shut-off valves;
rMCM
rMCM — modulating mode for control valves.

Design features
The MCM Series was designed for transport operating conditions, including mechanical loads, high vibration, contact with saline fluids, and high ambient humidity.

The actuator housings are made of bronze, the connecting elements are made of stainless steel.

The design meets marine shock- and vibration-resistance requirements.

The actuator enclosure is designed to withstand the pressure of an internal explosion and prevent flame propagation outside the enclosure.

Actuator components in power and control circuits meet intrinsic-safety requirements.

Motor insulation class F (IEC 62114) permits operation at winding temperatures up to +155 °C.

MCM Series actuators are three times lighter than standard equivalents.
