Purpose
The CM Series is designed for compact pipeline valves, including ball, butterfly, segment, and linear-motion valves.
The series is based on the AB actuator platform and features an integrated SMARTCON control unit and variable speed. The control unit is integrated into the actuator, so no separate unit is required for basic operation.
The actuators operate in S2 or S4 duty depending on the version.

The series is available in three designs based on the valve closure movement: multi-turn (CM), quarter-turn (CM + MF), and linear (CM + L).
Types of ACTUSMART series actuators
The series includes three design types. The actuator type is selected based on the movement of the valve closure element.
Multi-turn actuators CM
They control small-sized multi-turn valves. The valve closure element moves through multiple rotations of the output shaft.
Quarter-turn actuators CM + MF
They control small ball valves, butterfly valves and segment valves. The valve closure element rotates through 90°.
