Emergency Fail-Safe Operation
The nuclear power plant actuator series is intended for safety-critical applications, including power-generation facilities. Purpose: to ensure safety during emergency power outages of power or control systems, as well as to transfer shut-off valves to a safe normally open or normally closed position upon a command signal.
Explosion-Proof Version
The actuators are designed for use in potentially explosive areas. The explosion protection types used are “explosion-proof enclosure” and “intrinsically safe electrical circuit”.
