Purpose
SMARTCON is a control unit for VALTRON electric actuators. The system is designed to meet safety requirements while providing flexible application and ease of use.
The unit is compatible with all VALTRON brand actuators. It can be used both for initial actuator installation and for upgrading existing equipment.

Operating principle and functions
Signal Control
The actuator can be controlled via mechanical or electronic reversing contactors, analog, discrete, or digital signals, and variable-frequency drives.
Torque Monitoring
Displacement measured by factory-calibrated disc springs is used to monitor the preset torque.
Microprocessor
The unit is microprocessor-based. Built-in options—positioner, feedback, and others—can be updated, including on an already installed unit. The drive can be connected to industrial networks (PROFIBUS and others).

Selecting a control unit
The control unit configuration is selected based on the actuator type and control circuit. Fill out the questionnaire and a VALTRON engineer will prepare a technical proposal.
